Spaceship Interiors / Talis Enterprise
Arturo Vittori and Andreas Vogler will design the interior of Project Enterprise by Talis Enterprise – the only privately-funded Space Tourism program in Europe, that will bring the first individuals into space from Airport Magdeburg Cochstedt by 2013.In the future, Talis Enterprise will bring tourists in suborbital space in Germany. In 2004 the project has already begun and flight simulations completed. The company with its headquarters at Cochstedt airport, near Magdeburg is expected to launch the first manned flights in 2013. Specialist companies in rocket technology and a team of experienced engineers develop the aircraft, which will bring passengers at altitudes up to 125 kilometers, where they will experience weightlessness for several minutes – more than in any Parabolic flight. The flight will cost 150,000 euros. The designs of the interiors will be presented beginning of February 2009 at www.talis-enterprise.com.”The interior for our spaceship is of elementary significance. Because we are not flying trained astronauts for scientific missions into space, but people like you and me who are living their dream, “says Ing. Peer Gehrmann, founder and CEO of Talis Enterprise Ltd. Comfort and safety are of prime importance, so these space tourists can enjoy their journey into weightlessness. A cabin stuffed with machines like the U.S. space shuttle or the Russian Soyuz capsules, will not be found in the passenger module of the Enterprise.”In weightlessness a chair is not simply a chair, because there’s no top and down and nothing stands still and firmly on the ground. For the interior design of the Enterprise, we therefore look that the journey will not become a walk on a tightrope for the Space tourists. Matt colors and dark tones will control the glare by the sunlight, so the view of the stars and the planet Earth can be enjoyed,” say Arturo Vittori and Andreas Vogler.
