Arturo Vittori, co-founder of the Architecture and Vision design studio, participated in the first of a series of specialize seminars on the role of scientific research training in advanced design at the Iuav University of Venice School of Art and Design. The seminars, courses somewhere between traditional lecture and research project, are being taught in collaboration with Massimiliano Caretti of the Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies, CNR (Italian National Research Council).

Andreas Vogler will be speak at the Full Moon Symposium held at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam on October 8, 2011. The conferences is organized by the Moon Life Foundation, an interdisciplinary platform initiated by Alicia Framis. The symposium brings together scientists, architects, designers and artists to share their ideas, visions and designs for daily life on the Moon and in space.

Arduino Day is a day dedicated to promote to teachers, researchers, artists and students the Arduino platform. ‘Arduino Day’ will be the first day dedicated to the open source platform, made in Italy that is revolutionising the world of electronics. The aim of the event is therefore to promote the project, developed in Italy, showing the possibilities and potential. The initiative, organized by the association for science DiScienza was created with the aim of catalyzing the growing interest in the Arduino project, and direct it in a single day where you can learn about the different realities that use the platform approach and some applications.
