The new graduate course by AV in Industrial Design is now started at the University IUAV of Venice, Faculty of Arts and Design Graduate Programme in Product Design (clasDIP) Treviso, Academic Year 2010/2011. This year the topic is interaction between Technology and Nature. Plants stay in the center of our life support system, they provide oxygen, clean water, food and balance the climate.

Andreas Vogler will be lecturing at the Moon Academy Architecture workshop held at the European Space Agency Center ESTEC in Noordwijk, the Netherlands.
Moon Academy speculates on the possibility that humans will live in space in future. The project is a stimulus for artists, architects and designers to create radical but humane concepts for living in the extreme lunar environment.

Starting on October 2009, Arturo Vittori and Andreas Vogler will team-teach graduate course in Industrial Design (Laboratorio di design dei materiali e tecnologie innovativi, I), at the University Iuav of Venice—at the premise of Treviso, Riviera Santa Margherita 74.

Under the title “InteractiveDevices”, we want to make use of the designers skills to explore the topic by means of design. The exploration will not only concentrate on hardware and software abilities, but also on social interaction of robots, between themselves and between humans. Students will explore robot applications in private, public and professional environments and investigate by design possible scenarios.

Space Camp
TU, Munich, Fakultät für Architektur, April 16 – July 8, 2008

Architecture and Vision partners Arturo Vittori and Andreas Vogler have been invited as experts for the teaching studio “Space-Camp” training-centre and short-time residence for sub-orbital-flight passengers.

The studio is organized from the institute of Professor Richard Horden at the University of Technology in Munich.
During one semester students will look into the ground facilities for sub-orbital space flights for space tourists.
