‘Pandora’ is a shell for valuable and precious small objects. In a time of vanishing privacy and object value, it is putting the focus on the architecture of the container. The perfect white marble sphere triggers images of discovery, exploration and the unknown and drives human curiosity. It fits perfectly into the human hand and transfers preciousness by its weight and haptics. The two hemispheres are hold together by magnetic metal rings, which are forming an orbit around the sphere as if it were an unexplored planet.
