Something New Under The Sun | WIEN

Andreas Vogler will lecture at TU Vienna, Faculty for Architecture and Planning. The lecture is part of a lecture series organized by Hochbau 2 along with the current design studio 'Destination Moon'. Andreas Vogler will give an insight into several space projects designed by Architecture and Vision and how they translate into projects on Earth. The limitation of resources, lightweight construction, mobility and use of in-situ materials and energies are key elements in the design for space as well as for a sustainable future on our planet. Next to aerospace and architecture projects, Andreas Vogler will also show recent Architecture and Vision art projects such as 'LaFenice', created for the city of Messina in Sicily, and 'AtlasCoelestisZeroG', a sculpture recently ‘flown’ aboard the International Space Station.
