The director of the Italian Cultural Institute Cairo Dr. Marianacci and Stefano Toscano, Minister, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Switzerland to Egypt opened the exhibition ‘From Pyramids to Spacecraft’ at the Italian Cultural Institute in Cairo, Egypt. A first preview of the exhibition was granted to the Italian Ambassador Claudio Pacifico, Deputy Head of Mission: Minister Counsellor Andrea Orizio and the minister of culture of Egypt after the official opening of the 12th Week of the Italian Language on the evening before the official opening. The opening on monday October 15 was followed by a scientific roundtable on the theme of the exhibition ‘From Pyramids to Spacecraft’ with the participation of the architects Arturo Vittori and Andreas Vogler, astronaut Roberto Vittori (by videoconference) and various experts like Professor Vincenzo Chiochia, specialized in the boson Higgs at CERN in Geneva.
