EVENT | WARKA WATER 3.2 | Dorze

The first pilot prototype of the WW 3.2 was installed and inaugurated in the Dorze Village in Southern Ethiopia on the 26th of May. The ceremony was presided over by the Ambassador of the Republic of Italy, H.E Giuseppe Mistretta, representing the Italian government, accompanied by Mrs. Alessandra Testoni, Humanitarian Program Coordinator of the Italian Cooperation Office (IDC) who has granted in part the financial support for the current experimental phase of the project.
The inauguration ceremony saw the joyful participation of a large group of women, men and children coming from the 12 villages of the Dorze who hosted the “historical“ event with local dances and chants.
The success of the current phase of the project wouldn’t have been possibile without the help and support of the community of volunteers and private companies who continue to firmly believe in the Warka Water cause.
