006 Eco Unit
Issues of sanitation and hygiene still remain one of the main concerns for developing countries. Designed to assist in this widespread need and as a tool for hygiene education, ‘Eco Unit’ is a mobile hygiene unit, easily transportable by truck, to be placed in villages without potable water access. Supplying solutions developed for the International Space Station, the unit is equipped with systems for water purification and recycling, and also uses energy from the sun and derived from waste valorization.
