038 Coco Leaf
Inspired by the leaves of coconut trees, the 'Coco Leaf' is a new interpretation of modern fibre materials for an elegant table object. The thin shell made out of carbon fibre is forming a curved bowl, which is balancing itself on the table in a playful equilibrium with the objects inside. The weave of the carbon fibre and the clear lacquer finish is creating an additional layer of depth and reflections on the surface which finds its continuation in the polished steel end piece.

Ispirandosi alla forma della foglia della pianta di cocco, 'Coco Leaf' la reinterpreta attraverso l’abbinamento di materiali moderni, proponendo un elegante portaoggetti. La fibra di carbonio, leggera e sottile, presenta una configurazione sinuosa, la cui posizione sul piano è data da un gioco di equilibrio con gli oggetti contenuti all’interno. La tessitura della fibra di carbonio e la finitura laccata conferiscono una particolare profondità alla superficie e riflessi che si prolungano nella terminazione in acciaio lucidato.

S’inspirant de la forme de la feuille de cocotier, 'Coco Leaf' la réinterprète en un objet décoratif élégant destiné à être présenté sur une table. Faite à partir d’une fine peau de fibre de carbone, sa forme sinueuse en constant balancement sur son support induit des jeux d’équilibres avec les objets qu’elle contient. Le rendu de la fibre de carbone et la finition en laque confèrent à sa surface une profondeur particulière et créent des effets de reflets élégants jusque dans ses extrémités en acier poli.
