058 Moon Capital
‘Moon Capital’ is a design proposal for a Second Generation Habitation on the Moon located on the rim of Shackleton crater at the lunar South Pole. It is based on current technology and scientific knowledge. The settlement consists of several large domes covered by regolith to protect people and plants from radiation. The modular system allows growth and extension as the new society on the Moon develops. Inside each domes there are inflatable modules to house up to 60 people and for growing plants for food. Moon Capital contains facilities for research, production and leisure. A small hotel allows visitors to enjoy this special environment.

Il progetto 'Moon Capital' definisce e studia un Habitat di Seconda Generazione per la Luna, capace di ospitare 60 persone. Si basa sulle tecnologie attualmente più avanzate, ed è concepito per essere inaugurato il 20 luglio 2069, nel 100º anniversario dello sbarco sulla Luna dell'Apollo 11. Consiste in due grandi cupole, ricoperte da uno strato protettivo in regolite, atto a proteggere le piante e gli occupanti dalle radiazioni. Al loro interno sono disposti una serie di moduli gonfiabili, per la vita degli abitanti e per la coltivazione di vegetali a scopo alimentare. Moon Capital include aree destinate alla ricerca, alle attività di produzione, e al tempo libero. Una piccola sezione, adibita a Hotel, consente infine ai visitatori di godere di un panorama unico nel suo genere.

'Moon Capital' est un projet d’habitat de seconde génération sur la lune à l’extrémité du cratère de Shackleton sur le pole sud lunaire. Ce projet s’appuie sur les connaissances technologiques et scientifiques les plus avancées. La base est constituée de deux vastes dômes recouverts de régolithe pour protéger les habitants et les plantes des radiations. Le système modulaire permet une extension et croissance selon l’évolution de la nouvelle société sur la lune. A l’intérieur des dômes, des modules gonflables peuvent accueillir jusqu’à 60 personnes et permettent de cultiver les végétaux nécessaires pour l’alimentation. Moon Capital comprend des installations pour la recherche, la production et les loisirs. Un petit hôtel permet aux visiteurs de profiter de cet environnement particulier.

تعد عاصمة القمر اقتراح لتصميم مساكن من الجيل الثاني على سطح القمر، وذلك على حافة فوهة شاكلتون الموجودة في القطب الجنوبي للقمر. ويستند هذا الاقتراح على التكنولوجيا الحالية والمعرفة العلمية. ويتكون أصغر المجتمعات من قبتين كبيرتين مغطاة بالثرى لحماية الناس والنباتات من الإشعاعات. ويسمح نظام الوحدات الموجود بالتوسع والامتداد كلما تطور المجتمع الجديد على سطح القمر. ويوجد داخل تلك القباب وحدات قابلة للنفخ لإيواء ما يصل إلى ستين شخصًا، وكذلك للزراعة من أجل الحصول على الغذاء. هذا وتحتوي عاصمة القمر على مرافق للأبحاث، والإنتاج، والترفيه، كما يوجد فندق صغير يتيح للزوار التمتع بهذه البيئة المميزة.
