062 Wand Bot
‘Wand Bot’ is an experimental device that allows humans to interact with their environment. Using RFID and Bluetooth technologies, it combines the physical and virtual world with an intuitively useable tool. The portable, ergonomically styled object uses software developed by the Italian National Research Council (CNR) and can be programmed for multiple applications, from a learning ‘toy’ for children, to a ‘universal’ remote control to interact with our working and living environments in a sensual and haptic way.

'Wand Bot One' - è un prototipo sperimentale che ci permette di interagire con l’ambiente e gli oggetti che ci circondano in modo innovativo. Tramite l'utilizzo delle tecnologie RFID e bluetooth, WBO unisce il mondo reale con quello virtuale con uno strumento usabile intuitivamente. Questo oggetto, ergonomico e portatile, utilizza un programma sviluppato dal CNR, Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerca, e può essere programmato per diversi utilizzi, da un giocattolo per i bambini con esigenze particolari, a un telecomando “universale” capace di interagire con gli spazi lavorativi ed abitativi. WBO è progettato per richiedere un’interazione fisica aumentando l’esperienza sensuale con gli spazi che ci circondano.

“واند بوت ١” نموذج تجريبي يسمح للبشر بالتفاعل مع بيئتهم بطريقة جديدة. فباستخدام كلٍّ من تقنية تحديد الهوية باستخدام موجات الراديو (RFID)، وتقنية البلوتوث (Bluetooth)، يقوم نموذج “واند بوت ١” بالدمج بين العالمين المادي والافتراضي عن طريق أداة قابلة للاستعمال اعتمادًا على الحدس. وتستخدم تلك الأداة المحمولة والمصممة هندسيًّا برنامجًا من تطوير المجلس القومي الإيطالي للبحوث (CNR)، ويمكن برمجتها أيضًا لتستخدم في تطبيقات متعددة تتنوع من لعبة تعليمية للأطفال ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة إلى جهاز “عالمي” للتحكم عن بُعد يساعدنا على التفاعل مع بيئات عملنا ومعيشتنا. وقد تم تصميم هذا الجهاز؛ بحيث يتطلب تفاعلاً ماديًّا، ومن ثمَّ فإنه يحسِّن من تجربتنا الحسية مع المساحات المحيطة بنا.
